Car restorationCar restoration is not cheap pleasure and it is not just changing the color. It requires remarkably more time, effort and competence. Although restoration process for each car can be as different and unique as the life story of each claccic. Still main stages of restoration process are as follows: Restoration stages:
1. Car Preparation - almost every classic car in its lifetime has experienced not only good days but some accidents and damages. To understand the condition of vehicle we must free it from all the paint layers which have been applied during the long life road. By various tools such as sand-blast we fully clean off car's surface from all the unwanted.
2. Body Renewal - after the car has been fully cleansed in most cases we found traces of low-quality previous repairs and rust "mountains". In order to recover the car body to its earlier quality all damage must be eliminated. The work begins for body repair specialist who does body straightening and welding.
3. The active layer of prime coating - layer of active prime coating is done to protect car body from rust in the future
4. Common layer of prime coating - another layer of common prime coating is done 5. Filling and polishing - even though the success has been taken by previous steps of restoration to achieve a perfect body shape it is necessary to do car filling and grinding for severale times. Have to remark that during old manufacturing process original filling was done to some classic cars so the filling has to be restored. 6. Repeated bottom layer and grinding 7. Car painting - classic car painting is usually done in three layers
8. Repeated car painting - another three color layer which together makes already six color layers 9. Restoration of car insulation - renovation of sound insulation 10. Saloon restoration - done with original similarity
P.s. And of course warranty - 5 years for restored cars!
